Harvest Underground
Anyone want us to start it back up? If so why and how could we improve it?

Re: Harvest Underground
Underground would be fun again if we can keep a slightly more tight leash on it this time. Honestly, it should be more easy to do that now. It's all going to be about the bands..

Underground was a hxc ministry that we did a couple years ago. We used the fellowship hall, and once a month we'd host a Christian hardcore/scene/ish kind of show. The numbers flourished and it seems that God really blessed it. We stopped doing it when we felt that it was "time" to, but it would definitely be cool to do a reunion tour. Biggest key will be finding good bands that have a good message to give.

Well, I'm exctied about it. I think we should, however we must state, it is not everyone's cup of tea. You either love it or tolerate it, but these bands are not for the timid.
With that disclaimer out.....i'm ready to get c---k. lol And I agree with skee, we do need to have more limits on the bands. Hannah was saying that she already knew of a couple of bands that might be intrested, so thats a start...

I'd like to hear what Ethan's got to say on this subject of re-launching Harvest Underground...
In my opinion, he knows of what he speaks - because he (as a Freshman?) supported us by not only coming to every one, but he literally worked every one (by helping Mr. Sam run the soundboard).
That's cred.

Harvest Underground
hey im all for it i enjoyed it a lot while it was going and i will be more than willing to do whatever is needed. But i do know that there will be a lot more competition to get people because of the numerous other events put on by churches that are very similar. But i feel that it really worked and it was a great ministry because we got a lot people into a church setting that woul never have come on a sunday morning. if we can get it to be like that, that would be awesome

Re: Harvest Underground
hey one of my friends is in a band, Enlightened By Tragedy, and are having a show at Western Alamance May 23rd. They're christian/hardcore/screamo. They have some of their own music and some covers of various bands. I think they would love to be a part of Havest Underground if it were started once again (:

Hey, hey!! I only got to go to, like, one of these because of the kiddos. I collected money. Yeah, it was pretty cool and lots of fun. From what I saw, we reached a lot of people. We just need to always keep in mind that it's all about Jesus.
